French guy learning code in my free time.
I began learning code in the end of 2018. And I began with Unity.
But my code skills weren't very well. Because with unity we can do a lot of simple things without a great code skill. But when I wanted to code more difficult concepts, like pathfinding (in 2D), I was blocked because I didn't have a good level of code.
My first game 'PaintGirl' and my escape game prototype was made with Unity.
Now I'm learning code from bases. I'm learning Lua language which is easy to understand and use. And I use Love2D framework. So It's only code. No interface like unity, just code. Thanks to that my understanding of code is much better than before. And I have the control of what I'm doing.
I will make some few projects with lua/love2D and then I will try Monogame framework. ^^
I recently created a youtube channel where I will post all my new games, feel free to subscribe ^^
